This Moment

this moment in time
a helicopter
caught short of
breath crashes
into the
federal building
and all
news channels
come to swarm –
the mauling presence
of word
after word
to bring comfort
to your spine

I’ve shorted out
many times
before
so I know

what this
moment
can
do

this day
we
prep
another plague

house
someone else’s
mind

this crash
caves in
the best
of peoples
haven’t I
seen
this on
a news?

the breath
was them tense
set of shoulders,
when they
came to see
the apartment
said a
lady’s touch
was needed

tormented ticking time
bomb, storm clouds
ready for a bursting

walking around

all of us

who is that guy?

who is that chick?

too restless to
receive the
whole egg
in a dash

too restless to

relax

too seperate to

see

too tired

to sleep

so I blind the
path with
non-path
and rake out
your eyeballs
out of pure spite

with a splash
the stabbed at rats
fall back
into the vat

O the holy yoga mat

Grey

Kalika is
a precious purring soft
baby on her side
eyes closed
fine white little whiskers
sleeping statue still
like Rudra on ledge
his shark fang exposed
tail overhangs
his large ear a pyramid
a seashell of calm

Sit Still

not enough
patience sometimes
sit like this
restless
mind wandering
thinking about other things to do
like yeah go and
meditate soon
go back to the house
and sit in that zone
me facing the wall
me and the wall and my cats sitting
up on the sill
see the pain at your necklace area
yeah, where your neck is
yeah but looping down
you mean my whole body?
yeah everything
all sensation
all scars
collected
life long
that scientolgists can’t
really spot
psychologists can’t zap
with prozac

sit and be burned
by the sun
for the slow death
of life

who was I to you?

drunk entry publish from the pub (after) what does it matter as ya cruise along and let it go like that, annoying stream of consciousness to some, bread and butter to other. it is so easy for me to love this one small girl but will say nothing more because what good does any of it do?

Facts As They Come

hard to
report on
what is

what appears

earnest
photographic
words

to create
shorts
poems
haiku

deer
shot
in wooded
whites

a lecture
on snow

you
never know

so just
report
“facts”

as they come

the conundrum

ask the
answer
if it’s right
